The Morning After the Storm Before

You probably have the big picture already. NYC is a total mess. etc.
My neighborhood seems to be more or less okay, except for the usual trees and branches down. Believe it or not, it's something like the fifth time in the past five years that we've had tree damage here. This is the new normal here. The weather is not what it was. And it doesn't take a climatologist to put two and two together about why. (Just heard Gov. Cuomo say as much. Good for him.)
So now we begin the cleanup. Which will probably take weeks. In the long run, NYC will be fine. It usually is. But this is new for us. A lot bigger and more complex than anything we've seen here before. We will need to be patient.
More to come.
