I passed up on Y simply because I am not a fan of post-plague apocalypses and semi-apocalypses. Some things just don't work in the dark recesses of my psyche. (Same reason I won't red Doomsday Book.)
That said, were I to find the TPBs in the library and I were in the right mood, I might try them.
