Reviews? What Reviews?

sdelmonteSo you may be noticing that I am still not writing any reviews of the comics I have been buying of late. Truth be told, there is not much I think I need to say about any one comic. On the whole, what I am reading is pretty good but so much of it is forgettable. I read Fables yesterday, and even that once-stellar series is now just a quick and disposable read.
Something is out of whack at DC. Books with good writers and good artists are routinely bland. Final Crisis is a mess. Even Geoff Johns isn't doing it for me with Superman. And while I am still hooked on Batman RIP and on Booster Gold, and while some of the ideas I hear about are cool, the overall effect is that DC is going nowhere fast, and that it's not worth my time to review anything at the moment.
On the plus side, I am saving money by buying less.
