I think that Batya, being part of it longer and with much more intensity, is still going to show up now and again in S8. Once I discovered that the firewall at my office wouldn't let me into S8 (as it has - gasp! - a chatroom), the opportunity to post and then the desire went away.
As for Montreal, we are most likely to pass on it as Worldcon 2004 is in Boston at the end of that month. If we are ever to get to a Worldcon, it will be then. So we will most likely be saving our pennies for that.
