Not-So-Supernatural?
Jan. 16th, 2008 10:14 amSo it's been announced that this spring, there will be a second Supernatural prequel comic. Same writer - producer Peter Johnson - but a new artist, Diego Olmos, whose work I don't know but has handled some Bat-duties along the way.
i'm glad that the first SPN comic sold well enough that there is a second one. But the first wasn't that good. And because of the WGA strike, Eric Kripke cannot help at all. (This says, BTW, that if Johnson is allowed to write the comic, he's not a member of the Guild and not a writer, which we sorta guessed.) But it sounds interesting, and it will be there when the show isn't once again.
Do I think about buying it, knowing that at best it will probably not be that great, and that at worst it's sort of like crossing the picket lines since WGA rules don't allow writers to do anything for the studio? Or should I skip it and if the buzz is good, get the collection later?
Thoughts?
