Iron Man 3
May. 5th, 2013 04:52 pmSo you might recall that I have not been the biggest fan of Marvel films. I've liked them to varying degrees, but never had the enthusiasm most of you do.
Till today. To my surprise and delight, I loved Iron Man 3. There are a few small flaws here and there in the film, overall I found it well acted, well paced, well plotted, and amazingly well scripted. Robert Downey Jr once again gives a great performance, but he is surrounded by good actors here, and the film just flows so well. It not only makes us forget how meh the second Iron Man was, but I think it surpasses the first in terms of the plot and the big finale. (And the score was probably the strongest we've had yet for a Marvel film as well.)
Hats off to Shane Black, RDJ and everyone else who made this one a joy.
The one thing I am wondering is whether Joss did any script doctoring at any point. A few of the lines seems somewhat Joss, but from what I have heard, Shane Black is known for banter as well. Anyone see anything online that would point to a Joss tweak here or there?
