RA Dickey, Cy Young Winner

In a world and on a day when things feel a bit depressing, it's always nice to find something to cheer.

And no one gave Mets fans more to cheer about last season that Robert Allen "R. A." Dickey.  Today he capped his remarkable season by winning the NL Cy Young Award,  Which, if you don't follow baseball, is something really awesome.  He''s the third Met and the first knuckleballer to win.  He didn't need to win to validate a great season, or to be cooler than he already is.  But it's nice to say that he won nonetheless.
