Shanah Tovah
Sep. 8th, 2010 04:42 pmThe Jewish year 5770, which ends tonight, has been, on the whole, one I am glad to see end. A lot of good things happened to a lot of friends, but for me and my family and many friends, it has been rough. And I am entering the season of introspection that starts tonight with Rosh Hashanah and continues till Yom Kippur with a lot of 5770 weighing on me. (Facing God right now? Not easy at all.)
Still, with a new year comes hope. And warm wishes. With that in mind, I wish all a Shanah Tovah, a good year. A year of love and peace and great things. May it be the year we all want, and not the year we just saw.
I will be offline from 6:30 pm tonight till Sunday morning, and won't try to catch up on LJ (and will do this again for holidays in two weeks and three weeks). There will be a "Did I Miss Anything?" post on Sunday. Till then, the Internet is in your hands.
