Quick Question
Nov. 18th, 2009 09:15 amDoes anyone out there read The Huffington Post or The Daily Beast? If so, do you read the arts coverage there.
The JM got covered by both in the last few days, which is nice but I have to wonder if anyone actually navigates away from the political news and the gossip down to where you can find reviews of art exhibitions. I think one of the big things publicists haven't figured out how to replace is a way to make sure people see coverage of your product. On TV or radio, if you watch or listen long enough, the news item about your product comes around. In print, if someone reads from cover to cover, they'll see it. But on a website like the ones mentioned, where there are hundreds of links, I wonder if anyone actually notices every link.
What say you?
