Today's Denial of Service

So Twitter, as you may have seen, has been suffering all day from a Denial of Service attack. And LJ and Facebook were knocked down, too, though not as badly.

Interesting that LJ actually mattered to anyone, given that it's often treated by the technorati as being a backwater. Interesting that MySpace wasn't attacked. Or that if it was, no one cares.

What happened? Probably just the usual array of hackers. But that's not as much fun as a conspiracy (which I suggest as a JOKE): ( Read more... )
