1. Everyone hear about the comet or asteroid that made friends with Jupiter? Cool, but also kinda scary, since the black splotch on the outer layer of Jove's atmosphere is the size of the Pacific. It's also cool that an amateur astronomer from Australia found it first.

2. There is a Tim Horton's on the Upper East Side. Not that I can buy donuts from it, but it's still something I've never seen in NYC before. I guess they are trying to fill the void left by the departure of Krispy Kreme from the city.

3. SDCC starts tomorrow, and I am already bored of the hype. There has been nonstop pre-con coverage on the fan sites for two weeks. I'm sure there will be some things announced there that I be interested in, but on the whole, it's too much to keep up with or to care about.

Still, I am sure that it's a very different thing to be there. And if you are going, have fun and say hi to all the big names. And make sure to be at the special reading of the screenplay for the never-filmed finale of Middleman. With the original cast!
