Watchmen

It didn't suck. In fact, it was quite good and - to my surprise - even fun. It wasn't perfect, it certainly wasn't totally true to the original (nor should it have been), and it won't dislodge Dark Knight or Superman from the top of my list of super-hero films. But a lot more of it worked than I ever thought could.

Will non-fans like this? I can't say. I think there is a lot they will miss, and if they just don't like super-heroes, they really should stay home. Will fans like it? I think so. I think we could have lived without this, but I am glad we have it now.

And wonder what will be on the DVD.
