The weekend away is over, and we return tired but well-fed. Thanks to unsecured wireless in the home of our hosts, I am not really behind on LJ, though it's possible that I have missed something in an effort to scan things fast. So if there is something of note, please say so.
Meanwhile, while Was away the Giants decided to end their season earlier than last year. As I was pretty sure they would lose, based on how they ended the season and how the EAgles were playing, I can't say this breaks my heart. But it would have been nice if they could have repeated, and nicer still if they hadn't gone into a funk six weeks ago. I'd like to blame Plaxico Burress for shooting himself in the leg, but it feels like his injury only reveals how easily the Giants could be derailed. In the meantime, it's only five weeks till pitchers and catchers report.
