So I looked over this week's comic book shipping list. And to no surprise, I have found that the last Joss Whedon issue of Runaways was postponed again, to next week.

But I also found that the next issue of Angel: After the Fall is out today, even though the last issue was just last week.

So which one is the real Joss, the guy who can't manage to get a single book with Marvel out on anything resembling a schedule, or the guy who manages to get all the books with his own creations that he plots and sometimes scripts out on time almost always?

A Question

Is an athlete who plays through the pain of a busted ACL and 2 stress fractures in his knee to win a major event the single toughest man on Earth (and probably the single best athlete his sport has ever seen)?

Or is he both competitive and obsessive to an healthy degree?

Or is Tiger Woods both?

Certainly, winning the way he did, playing through that kind of pain, is amazing. He's really that great a golfer and that strong a competitor. But you have to wonder why anyone would go through that much pain and take the risk of further injury. I also wonder what will happen to him thirty yers down the line when he's not able to compete anymore even in seniors golf and has no outlet for his drive.

For now, though, it's hard not to marvel at what he did Monday. And hard not to feel sorry for all the other golfers. He beat them all on a very bad knee. What's like when he's heathy?
