Sunday Morning at the Con

Hi out there. At the hotel computer again, catching up.

Con's been pretty good so far. The filk's been great, the con suite is very good, but it always takes a while to get the rhythm of a new con. This one's a bit laid back compared to Lunacon. But the vibe is totally positive.

Learned that I am apparently the Great Luke Ski's demographic, since I was the only one who both laughed at his Starscream impression AND responding to his "hi, everybody" with "hi, Dr. Nick." Scary.

Tried to look at all the comics news from SDCC and ran away. Too...much...change. One thing of note, though: Kevin Smith will be doing an episode of Heroes: Origins. It thing that's good, but can't be sure till we see it.

Later today, Batya's concert. Yay!!!

Not Home Yet

Apparently, it's really raining in NYC.  So much so that the airports didn't want us coming home tonight.   So we are stuck in Pittsburgh anothere day.  We will hopefully be coming home on the same flight but tomorrow.

At least the hotel the con was at is very nice, and had the courtesy shuttle take us to the Giant Eagle to get food.  We might not have much to do tomorrow while waiting for the flight, but at least we feel welcome here.

More to come when we manage to get home.
