Composer Shirley Walker (no relation to the writer, AFAIK) has passed away at the age of 61. She is best known for her work on the Batman and Superman animated series of the 90s, including the soundtrack for Mask of the Phantasm. Samples of her remarkable work for film and TV can be found at her website.
