Veronica Mars and Jason Kidd
Apr. 23rd, 2006 09:54 amThis is the latest in a series of posts designed to let New Yorkers figure out when Veronica Mars airs in our fair metropolitan area.
This week, Channel 9 has decided to show a basketball playoff game featruing Jason Kidd and the New Jersey Nets. While I am happy that for the first time in over 20 years, local free TV coverage of such games is available for people like me without cable, I am also less than thrilled that Channel 9 is pre-emtping VM to show it. Clearly, Channel 9 is continuing to show its disinterest in helping any of UPN's show do well as the netowrk closes shop.
IF you want to see this week's episode, set your VCR to tape it next Sunday at 7 pm instead. In fact, if you missed last week's episode because it too was not on on Tuesday, set your VCR for 7 pm tonight.
With only three more new episodes left, at least Channel 9 can only kick Veronica around a little while longer. After which, we hope she will still be on the air. At this point, I am totally unwilling to guess.
