- The first issue of the Serenity prequel 3-part comic book story was released today. Joss contributed to the story, but the script is by Brett Matthews, who wrote "Heart of Gold" for Firefly. I will offer comment later, after others have read it.
- DC Comics will be releasing a collected edition of its controversial Identity Crisis> minseries in the fall. The introduction will be by Joss. Back when the controversy was raging, I argued that Joss Whedon's approach to screenwriting was a huge influence on Brad Meltzer's script. Now we might find out if Joss agrees with that. if nothing else, Joss must have been impressed, since he has never seemed like a big DC fan till now.
