Even in an age of discovery and breakthrough, the arrival of DNA on the scene stands out. Few things have had a more profound impact on science, technology and everyday life, and I think it's safe to say that we've barely seen anything yet in terms of revolutionary (perhaps even evolutionary) changes in our lives.
Rest well, Dr. Crick.
