Fantastic (Four) News?
Sep. 25th, 2003 11:59 amYou may recall, some months back, that Marvel Comics decided to fire Mark Waid from Fantastic Four.
Well, the artist on that series, Mike Wieringo posted something interesting on his blog last night, the details of which are linked to below:

Now, I really want to believe this. But I want Waid to confirm this. And then I wnat Marvel to confirm this, as I don't trust any company that would fire Mark Waid from a book that so many are enjoying.
But if this indeed true...
WOO-HOO!
Funny thing is, last night, after reading the latest issue of FF (which you should read ASAP), I said to Batya that I was sure Waid would be back on FF within a year. Guess I knew more than I realized.
To mark this event, I am adding Mark Waid and Fantastic Four to my interest list. He is, hands down, my favorite comic book writer today.
