Five Questions
Jun. 5th, 2003 05:54 amHere's the newest meme: someone - in this case cadhla - offers five interview questions and I answer them. So, iwtohut further ado...
1. Other than your wedding (which is often the default answer), what was the happiest day of your life, to date?
Probably my brother's wedding day. The unbridled joy of such things can overwhlem you and can stick in your memory.
2. Do you feel Homeland Security really helps?
I think so. But I have no way of knowing. Is there a threat? Yes. How great is the threat? I have no idea. So I cannot assess any security efforts. Certainly, I feel better knowing there is some kind of effort that should have been in place years ago. Whether this is the right effort, now's that a tough question.
3. Do comic book movies make you nervous?
Marvel movies make me nervous because they show up DC. But I think comic book adaptations are a good thing, when done right, and that can be said of any adaptation anyway. What really makes me nervous is that DC is not interested at all in movies while Marvel is making too many films. Get with the program, DC!
4. Best single issue of a comic?
The Killing Joke, Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's chilling possible origin for The Joker.
5. If you had to sacrifice one thing you truly loved, what would it be?
It would be comic books. Can't sacrifice people, and can't think of something I love as much in the inanimate sense as comics.
