"Breakfast at Tiffany's." Reminds me of those I dated as whole till not long before Batya - pretty, smart, dull, and nothing in common with me.

"Eleanor Rigby" can when I'm in the right mood. "A Boy and His Frog," by Tom Smith.
And for much better, joyous reasons, the Hebrew sequence in "When You Believe" from the film Prince of Egypt. The Hebrew is taken from the Song sung by the Jews after the splitting of the Red Sea, and that somethng I say everyday in my prayers can get me going makes me believe the idea that every Jewish soul that would be born later was a witness to the events of the Exodus.

Anything by Duran Duran or any of the countless forgotten groups of the 80s. Mister Mister anyone?

"Being Green." Loved that so much as a kid that I wore that song away on my Sesame Street LP. (And once in a while, it can also make me cry, just a little.)

Never been one for dancing. But there are numerous songs that get me to air-guitar, and I air-piano to "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant."

Anything by Squeeze. I had a roommate who played their stuff incessantly. But there's not so bad after all.
