Today on the Jewish calendar is 13 Kislev. One year ago, my cousin Jordan died. It doesn't seem like a year. I miss him.

My first thought was, "it was that long ago?"... and then I though about when the Thursday night group learned mishna for his sheloshim, and it was the first time some of the group had ever learned mishna.

Jordan is indeed missed and remembered.
