Last week, Brian Vaughan announced he was leaving Runaways, saying that as much as he loved his creation, it was time to go. I was surprised, and said that most likely, I would drop it after he left. There were almost no writers in the MArvel stable )or even not esclusinve to DC and thus available) I could see taking it over and doing a good job.

Well, Marvel found the one writer I do trust...

JOSS WHEDON!!!

Wow. I guess I won't be dropping it after all.

And those sales that were once so low that the book wasd cancelled? That might be a thing of the past for a while.

Interesting. I'm not sure if that'll be enough to get me buying the book again, however. I read the beginning of Whedon's X-Men book and it just didn't grab me. I bought the first run of Runaways but never found myself that grabbed either.

Oh well, YMMV and all that.
