A pretty good week, ginve that not one of these wasn't readable.

Spoilers ahead!

52, Week 16 - Above, the wedding of Black Adam and Isis. Below, Renee and Charlie try to find a suicide bomber. Despite some flaws in the execution and the logic, this was a gripping and rather tense issue. Isis isn't much of a character, but Adam and the Marvel Family do nicely in the spotlight. And Renee is still the star of this series.

Batman 656 - Batman vs. an army of ninja Man-Bats in an art gallery. Non-stop action. What more could anyone want? Thanks to really good art by Andy Kubert and a good script by Grant Morrison, the story works. I'm not sure it should, but it does.

Supergirl and Legion of Super-Heroes 21 - Collosal Boy fights what looks to be the new version of the Legion of Super-Villains, and Brainaic 5 tries to revive Dream Girl. The main plot is paced better than it was last month, and seems to be going somewhere. But the highlight is Brainy as he tries something he shouldn't be, and as he confronts his teammates. Oh, and as he seems to be just a little insane. Chilling. And well done.

Flash: The Fastest Man Alive 3 - Much better than the first two issues, in part due to guest artist Karl Kerschl, who draws Bart as actually being 20. Bart struggles with his role and with the Speed Force, while his roommate decides to a super-hero only Booster Gold could like. There's little that's profound here, but the character play of Bart, Jay, and the new cast work very well. Maybe this book has a future after all.
