A Veronica Mars Mystery Solved

Since Veronica Mars is always solivng mysteries for other people, I thought I'd solve one for her. Or rather, for all the viewers who wondered why the heck the trailer for this week's episode after last week's episode was the trailer for last week's episode.

It turns out that UPN decided to postpone the next three new episodes of VM till next month, when America's Top Model returns. While I have no interest in this show, apparently it was a much better lead-in for VM than this South Beach disaster currently running.

So that's why the trailer was not thw one it should have been. It was to cover for the last-minute schedule change.

And now you can watch the Olympics, or Lost, and not miss anything good in Neptune.

The funny thing is that while I don't like reruns, we are so busy right now that I don't mind waiting till next month.

For what it's worth, House, MD (one of my favourite shows) had utterly lethargic ratings until it picked up American Idol as a lead-in. Here's hoping that America's Top Model (wince) will work similar magic for VM.

I need to watch me some VM. I still haven't seen any.
