Kewlness! And, that was actually a reasonable and cogent article. The only true problems I had with it were the emphasis on Buffy, as if that was the most widespread type of fanfic -- if the author had hit the "Book" page at fanfiction.net, she would've found one-third more Lord of the Rings fanfics and seven times as many about Harry Potter. And that's only at fanfiction.net.
