As much as I like Booster the character, Jurgens continues to be hit and miss as a writer for me. It was the same back when I reading his work umpteen years ago in Superman. Some months he's brilliant, others he's rather pedestrian.

Beyond all that, if it turns out that I missed several great issues, I can find the next Booster Gold collection, which might be a bit cheaper than the monthlies since I expect that the Blue Beetle feature would be collected separately.
